great update
seeing all the "whine & complain" threads i just had to post my 2 cents on this update: it's great!!!
more possibilities to unlock stuff without giving it away for nothing, synced emotes (oh this is so great) and fixed quests/maps. everything's in it, even new armor designs - THX ANET - go for the next one
this thread is for those who like the update. (to show anet we do exist, we just play more than we post)
if you want to complain i recommend you go for the whine&cheese threads.

I thank you for posting something positive, because I am loving the new update. The +2, +6, +20 faction gold lettering is worth it alone to me! I love seeing it lol.
People do not even know how long it will take because its been not even a full day yet. I am gaining a lot very quickly, and since pvp people are suppose to only pvp, I see no problem with them unlocking the things they need.
Of course ANet can only improve upon a system that already works great!
good job big A!

I'm getting close to the End of PvE with my Ranger/Mesmer And I'm just about ready to start my First PvP Char. And this Update is Awesome news. I was worried I'd have to run All the way through the game again as a Elem. So I could play one on PvP effectivly. So this new System is saving me a lot of time. Not to mention all the little fixes here and there. The only thing I am bummed about is the Tournament rules change. (You have to have 8 players instead of 5 Players). The only reason I don't like that so much is I only have 5 people in my guild that are able to play at the hours I play at (*sigh* Guess I'll just have to get my girlfriend to buy the game after all ). So all in all yet anyother Great Update A-Net

infused pets are sweet...
the merchant interface got improved.... no more item names stacking on each other into a mess...... there is so much small stuff that has been set right (for example the long-promised update on balthazars spirit description)
still laughing at the drognar collector... cesta with20% chance to improve soul reaping skills - oh yea - since when do those exist?
i didnt see that there was a pro-update thread already when i brough this up but seeing it highjacked already i am glad i did this anyway.

yeah for supporting the non-whiners society!
cept i find myself constently whining about whiners. /doh
anyway peopel bring up good points... it's just how they word it.
example: (good) topic: Unlocking skills/runes, what i would like to happen. Post: thanks for the update anet, its really nice to have a secondary way of unlocking things for my pvp characters, it really does make it easier for me to get things unlocked now. in the near future it would be nice to be able to unlock all runes/skills so that this game can be a more casual game, and we wouldnt have to grind so much to make a good pvp character.
example: (bad and what topics are usually like) TOPIC: PvP Update and What Went Wrong

I think the update is terrific, and I'm honestly baffled that the PvP crowd isn't singing ArenaNet's praises for finally allowing them to unlock items and skills through their favored mode of play. Guess some people will never be happy.

Yeah the new Collector's interface is very helpful in deciding what to get.
Bleh only the people who still want UAS are whining. That was just for beta testing purposes for March/April.

It's good that you want to compliment ArenaNet. But could you please do so without taking a cheap shot at other posters?

I am very pleased with this update as well. I've never much bothered with PvP before. It seemed pointless and goaless (apart from the HoH which is too leet for my blood). Now that I can actually earn stuff from playing in the arenas I imagine I'll be playing there quite a bit.
Question: What is the best/preferred arena to go to for random and/or team competition (not including HoH).
